Information Security Visions 2002/2003
Information is and will be a more and more valuable commodity; information systems and technologies more and more important goods and information security a more and more hot topic. Information security is quite a broad domain and one can hardly be in touch with all its different areas. Even harder is to imagine what will happen in one, two, five or ten year's time.
The Data Security Management journal (DSM) has decided to ask outstanding managers together with security experts for their predictions of information security development and major trends. This publication offers you visions and various views on different areas of information security in the near future.
In addition to security visions a representative overview of organizations engaged in the information security field is given. This commercial part of the publication presented in the form of a summary table and number of detailed company profiles.
DSM journal would like to express thanks to all authors of the texts and all who contributed to the success of this work. Particularly DSM wants to thank the three general partners of this publication and the special partner.
Then DSM journal also wants to thank to all companies that took part in this effort.
All people who prepared this publication worked for free and the whole profit is given to the account "People in Need" and "Dagmar and Václav Havel Foundation VISION 97". Therefore, DSM would be happy if the publication will help both the readers and the ones inflicted by the catastrophic floods during the Summer of 2002.
The publication "Information Security Visions 2002/2003" is published in November 2002.
